If it is the Atlantic City chapter...so be it. If the chapter would choose not to help, thats fine too. Honestly, I am not sure what kind of support I would expect. If I have to foot the bill for a hall for a day, I may do that with the help of some local sponsor types. Again, I am thinking out loud. Judging by the dismal at best turnout of the last two NJ shows...maybe Ocean City is not the place? Granted, the weather did not cooperate, but whats to lose? Can the turnout be worse? My thoughts are putting on a show in NJ that is within two or three hours of CT, PA, NYC and NY State. The downside...no casinos.
I don't claim to be an expert on the matter of chip shows, and I know you have been part of this hobby far longer than I, but it just seems that for one of the most densly populated areas in the country, there is very little action in the way of shows. Is it for lack of interest in the hobby, or has it not been tried?
