Good post Andy.
Of course poker will survive in LV. It will just keep moving from place to place, opening and closing. It will get smaller a little at a time. It will be tolerated off and on in a number of places. When the slots get over 50% use, the slot managers start pushing for more space. It is good business on their part. It is all a numbers game. Imagine yourself a casino owner. What would you do, if you were told, many more bucks if I only had 100 more slots. Think about it.
If I were a praying sort of guy, I would ask that todays Sun had the real story, and not just posturing for the press. Jim Albrecht has been good for the WSOP. He has improved the image many times over. I always envied him as he had the job all poker mgrs wanted. The TOP OF THE POKER WORLD.
I keep saying this is my last poker post. I just can not quit.
