If larger drop in Ca is not the reason, WHAT IS IT?
By the way, Ca poker as we know it is in trouble also.
The attorney general is trying every way he knows to close Ca card rooms. Some 5 years ago there were 600 Ca card rooms. Today I believe there are about 250. Dramatic drop, I would say.
The main reason is Indian gaming and their SLOT MACHINES. The 2nd reason is the AG.

Next: per LV SUN yesterday, the WSOP was not officialy cancelled. Only the Card room mgr was fired.

Next: No one in the industry today cares when HH came into the casino picture.

Next: The QPC started on time, every time after Steve took over as Tour Director, that would be the last 3 years. The only Tour's that do not start on time in LV today are held at the Horseshoe.

Next: A person does adapt to what the suits want or they do not survive. You can argue LV poker until the cows come home. No suit will listen unless he has space that can not be used for any other purpose. I am speaking of small rooms, not a Mirage. When wages and benifits are 50% and up of a bottom line, suits get real scared at board meetings. They will not argue for it!!!!!!
