Jim Blanchard owns Atlantic Standard and all the old Burt molds. He was the production manager for Burt.
Jim believes the Westinghouse chip could be as old as the 1930's. He has never seen the mold. He does not believe it was made at Burt. The old records would be a nightmare to access and no guarentee they are complete.
He believes Westinghouse would have ordered the chip from a distributer such as BC Wills, etc. In those days only Burt, T R King, and USPC made clay chips. Did USPC make anything besides Crest & Seal chips?
John Kendall former owner of Burt and now owner of Chipco, also does not know the mold.
THE MYSTERY CONTINUES. If these two gentlemen can not ID it, it is possible it will remain a mystery.
