Maybe I missed it in yesterdays postings but todays Wall Street Journal reports that Hilton and Grand casinos have agreed to merge after Hilton splits into two separate operations - Hotels and Casinos. Investors were less than impressed as both stocks declined yesterday. They were worried about the Beau Rivage in Biloxi stealing a lot of customers from the Grands property there. The Grand property in Tunica is the nicest in the area and should remain profitable.

There also was a story about the revitilization of the Atlantis casino on Paradise Island. I know that there was a lot of building going on there when I was there last year.
