Sorry to disapoint you, no real story here. Snapper began with S so all the family had to have a name that began with S.
How would you have liked JUDY Snapper or how about Myrtle Snapper. Of course the Snappers had 2 sons and 2 daughters. Would you have bought a chip named Greg Snapper or Don Snapper?
You would have made fun of us, if the names were not right.
