Hi Jim, Wrong on 2 counts.
Cages can and do show monatary gains.
I never paid a cent for the 25th anniversary buy-in chips. They were sold in the gift shop, but not all of them. I had 5, traded 4.
I also have one of all 500 buy-in chips issued at the Shoe. Some years were not sold in the Gift shop, just sold in bulk, I believe.
