Chequers is going to continue!!

It has been very gratifying to see that Chequers has meant so much to so
many good people in the chipping community.

When Neal and I started Chequers, its original purpose was to help bring
electronic chippers, cyberchippers, from the different services together. It
has done that and I think done it very well.

Over the years Chequers has grown to mean a great deal to us as well. So...

We're going to make some changes to Chequers. Changes to help curtail the
maintenance requirement, make the site virtually non-commercial, keep it
free for the collectors and keep it going for as long I can.

We'll make updates as regularly as is possible, but will let the message
boards handle the HotNews!(which is the reality anyway).

Banners for chipping services, like CASINO, will displayed (free) for the
new cyber chippers to find. Neal will of course be around too, time allowing.

It won't be Chequers Lite, but it will be a somewhat leaner Chequers. More
like a decaffeinated Chequers <g>.

Looking forward to meeting everyone at the convention.
