Got te get in on this! I grew up in Brooklyn and worked at Ebbets Field selling hot dogs; bug juice and everything in between. If any of you remember buying drinks at Ebbets Field, the vendor may have told you to save your cup. We would refill the cups for half price and keep all the money since were were charged based on cups and not juice.
This one you should enjoy. If you remember the hot dogs were just kept in warm water; not wrapped as they are today. The vendores were charged based on the number of hot dogs we took out. If we dropped a hot dog, we had to pay for it. So we would put on the side of the tray, go up a few steps and put it back in the water for the next customer. Those were the good old days.
Remember Happy Felton's Knot Hole Gang??
Just thought I would stir up some old memories. Do any of you have any chips from Ebbets Field?? (Just kidding for you out of towners).
