Today's newspaper carried a story that the New York city Gambling Control Commission cleared the way for Manhattan Cruises ship, named Max I, to
begin daily cruises from Brooklyn. The 230-foot casino ship will make twice-a-day runs from Sheepshead Bay, traveling 3 miles into international waters before the gaming commences.
The "grand opening" cruise will be on June 26.
