At the 1995 Queens Poker Classic, a poker player came to me and ask me to write a letter to the poker room mgr, marketing mgr, and special events mgr of Foxwoods. They were all 3 friends of mine and he knew I had been offered the poker job before Foxwoods opened. It seems he got barred.

It seems he had been caught taking 1 - $5 NCV from a poker tournament. Thats right 1. He was also a chip collector. No real poker player would hold out tournament chips to be run in at a later tournament. Jack Strauss did win the World Series with one chip, I watched him. All poker players know the story. Mind you I am not saying all poker players are honest, if he could cap a stack after the tournament, many would not hesitate. 4 different styles of 500's were made for the QPC, for this reason.

To my knowledge this player never was re-instated at Foxwoods.
