As I noted yesterday on a separate posting, I notified the dealer selling the Scandia chips that they were fantasy chips [and perhaps others did as well]. I have since posted his reply on my CASINO list and I think posted it here as well. Thought you should see what he posted on eBay.

It appears the dealer was honest but mistaken; in any event his posting illustrates why it is good for us to bring these "mistakes" to the immediate attention of the dealer [and if there are buyers to them as well].

"When I bought this item I was told it was from a Norwegian Cruise Line but have been

told by ebay users that it is probably a fantasy piece. I do not know which it is but I am

giving you both versions.

On 06/04/98 at 04:07:15 PDT, seller added the following

After more review of the evidence presented to me, I have reached the conclusion that

this particular chip is definitely a fantasy piece. I just wanted all poosible bidders to

know that. "
