I have come across a series of chips and $1. tokens from the Casino Pagor. They are
supposedly brand new chips--the casino never opened. It was in Nassau, Bahamas (?)
and the story goes that the casino did something/did not do something (?) and the
government never permitted them to open. The fellow that has these chips said he knows
the man that bought the casino and that is how he came by the chips. The $1 chip is blue
with 3 white retangles arranged on the edges. It only says "CASINOS PAGOR" and the
$1. token says "CASINOS PAGOR LIMITED" with a large number 1 and the word "dollar"
written across it. On the other side of this silver token is a spread out map of the world with
"CASINOS PAGOR LIMITED" written around the top part of the map.
Does anybody know anything about Casino Pagor? Is there any way to learn anything
more about this casino? I am totally new to chip collecting and I don't know if they are
fake chips and whether or not I am being scammed. Greg says they may or may not be
"fantasy chips". Fake or not--would a chip like this have value to a collector? Thanks for
your information. Doug.
