I finally got an answer to the URL mystery. Apparently, for security reasons, the BBS software ignores any URL's with an "@" symbol in them. The "@" in your email address is causing the whole URL to be ignored.

If you go to eBay and sign up for a User ID you will be able to post the links on the BB. I recently changed to a User ID on eBay so I tested it with a link to my auctions and it works just great.
